Please don’t call that number it’s a scam.
I called and I immediately knew it was a scam, why because I have direct TV myself and I’ve had them for years. Their automated system and their background music is so false you can already tell it’s a scam. I’ve been getting non stop calls for the last two months from scammer and I simply don’t answer any unknown number. I’ve even received voice messages that I will go to jail if I don’t pay to avoid going to jail for social security fraudulence. Please be smart people and don’t fall for this crap.
IMMEDIATELY BLOCK THOSE NUMBERS. It’s insane how much these scammers are harassing people to make them fall and steal money. |

I called and they had me believing I could get a promotional rate of 49.95 for my service. They had my name and address already. But to get the promotion I had to pay for 6 months service using an ebay card and if I called back to pay within 2 hrs i would also get $100.00 AT&T gift card.
I googled this and Directv community has a thread saying its a scam. They were very good and almost got me. |

I never did any business with this company obvious a scam. Received unsolicited call. Criminals looking for gullible victims. Old scam to get personal information and Credit Card info. |
| | | Got a call from 844-551-0578 telling I must call them immediately to reclaim money I had paid for Computer Maintenance that they were being forced to refund. I never return their calls but it looks like they are using the fake Dept. of Treas. phone numbers on a new scam. |

| | | Definite SCAM, he used the name Dennis Gray with the US Treasury Department and left a threatening message on our voicemail. Funny thing is that there are 4 adult tax-filers at that address using that same phone number and he never indicated which one of us the message was supposed to be for. Needless to say, I reported it. |

| | | SCAM! Received message claiming to be from Treasury Dept. claiming I would be brought before Fed. Court Magistrate and would have a summons of failure to appear if I didn't return the call. Laughable! |
| | | Got a call from a lady with an Indian accent saying she was from the Treasury Dept and there was a tax issue. I told her my taxes were current and I had my CPA do them. I then proceeded to hang up on her. |
| | | Scammer,,,,,,,when they give you their con story, tell them to wait on the line a minute because you are changing the baby. After 1 minute or so,,,get back on the phone and act like you are the US Marshall's Office and tell them that the call has been traced and that they are under arrest and to turn themselves in at the local US Marshall's office or US Consulate's office. If they fail to do so within 8 hours they will listed as fugitives from justice and will be hunted down and an additional 10 years will be added to their sentence. |
| | | SCAM!! These ***** had me going the whole time. Told me I owed $5011.47 from 2012. Threatened me with immediate arrest. Said it was out of my hands, but that with no prior legal trouble, I might be able to fix it. I spoke with two guys, the first was very aggressive, got me scared, and then I was transferred another guy who called himself William Oliver. While on the phone, I texted my accountant frantically and checked the number online. Luckily, I figured it out in time. To be honest, I was about to shower and wait for the police. Grandmothers and grandfathers must be easy prey.
My accountant assured me the IRS will never call or email. Certified email always. |

Old unidentified callers I research and entyer into my caller list as Spam999 (pick a number; I currently have 230 spam callers in the list. When they call again, I simply hang up on them. |
