I hung up the phone before the recorded message was complete, so don't know who it was.

Debt management spam call. Don't press anything or you could be charged. Hang up and block.

Just a robo call! I answered the call and said hello. An automated voice said goodbye!

Number keeps calling but has never left a message, so I would say they don't know me or they'd ask me to call back and give some context or follow up with an email.

Called missed call nd tried calling back seconds later the number says it's disconnected. Must be a spam call of some sort.

The caller hung up on me in mid-sentence of my sneaking.. I am on the do not call list, so this call was in violation of that program. I never give out personal information over the phone to strangers.

Person rang and appeared to want to process some form of due payment. could not understand what she wanted so I disconnected

I called the number back from a different (silent) number to the one they called me on, a very scratchy sounding message saying "the number is busy right now". I have now blocked this number on my phone.

Left no message on landline when I rang back message saying it's not connected blocked now

If you're getting calls from Spectrum, but you don't have an account with them, but you do have an account with Time Warner Cable, then you DO have an account with Spectrum. You just missed the whole thing about them changing their name. If you get calls from them for an overdue bill, and it really isn't your account, call Spectrum back and report it. It's not the fault of the office calling from this number, and is not necessarily fraud upon you, but it is fraud committed against Spectrum, itself.

This is real number from Spectrum in Oahu, calling for a late internet payment. I called back to Spectrum 800-892-4357 and got the confirm. So this is OK.

Call saying time to pay the bill

I keep getting calls about an "overdue bill". But I don't even use Spectrum Cable - it's not even offered where I live..

I get several calls/day from Spectrum, regarding an "overdue bill". I do not use Spectrum - never have, never will. I told the agent to stop the calls and he said he couldn't because "obviously" some customer had used my phone number while subscribing. He did tell me I was "free to ignore the calls". I told him they call 4 or 5 times a day, plus frequent texts and he said there was nothing they could do about it since my number was on their records.

Calling my work phone number 5 times a day. Robo call says they are spectrum, and asking for a person I do not know. this has been my work number for over 11 years through a major corporation. I do not have spectrum and do not know the person they are asking for. Once I stayed on the line to tell them they have the wrong number but they disconnected the call before anyone came on the line. Annoying.

Have gotten several phone calls and text messages from Spectrum, regarding "late payments". I do not use Spectrum and never have.

Spectrum is not a SCAM
