| | | I have received 5 calls from this number. The first 2 did not leave a msg. The 3rd one left msg saying they were calling to conduct a survey on whether there were children under age 12 in the household and left an 877 area code number to call them back??? The 4th time they did not leave a msg. I answered the 5th time and they were wanting some donation but I don't recall for whom. They have called at approx 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 9pm. It seems the (312) 578-7017 is just a 'mask' number. |

| | | NO PROBLEM with this caller. Centers for Disease Control Survey from University of Chicago. Polite survey taker seeking answers to questions about vaccinations. Data will be used to determine if areas in the country need additional funding for immunizations. Easy helping out. She politely answered all my questions about who she was and why they were conducting this survey. |

| | | Called last week. Guy was very nice conducting a random survey for the DPHSS and CDC on vaccinations. You can provide as much or as little info as you want. Still a little sketchy, which is why I googled the number like everyone else on this page. I completed the survey but called the Pediatricians office and told them not to provide any records to anyone requesting for it. |

| | | They just called. They knew it was my cell, so they asked me if I was doing anything that would make it dangerous for me to continue the call. I asked again who they were and she identified herself as being with the University of Chicago and was conducting the survey for the CDC. Asked a few questions about ages of children in household and since my children are grown, I have no grandchildren, and there are no children under the age of 18 living in my household that was the end of my survey. Not intrusive at all. But should they call again I'll tell them to remove my number from their list. |
