| | | Got this call from 844-514-6247 sent to my house number and cell phone the last couple of days.The call back number though for me to call them back is 844-619-8191 and they leave a suppose reference number.I dont bother to call them back because I know this is a bogus scam call.A few months back I was getting calls from some unknown group that was looking for someone I never heard of and they needed information now. I also had calls coming to my household claiming in a choppy recording that someone owes the i.r.s. and need to call asap to resolve.That I knew was also false.How do you stop these scammers???

| | | I got a call from 844 514 6247 . they left a message that they was filing papers in court against my ex wife and left a claim number . but at the end of the message said if I wasn't this person to disregard this message . so I deleted it . I have been getting unlisted calls from Oct 2015 to present . I have talked to the police and the phone company and they say well call this number and get on a national do not call list . that was 5 months ago and I'm still getting these dam calls . I have even answered and nobody on the other end . I answered one and they was wanting donations for veterans . I told them no and they got rude with me . foreigners broken English .

| | | They told me what my claim number is i can only guess that is meant to scare me they had the last four of my ss number which concerns me they told me they had collected a payday loan against me and that i needed to pay them iasked what they were talking about annd they said the payday loan was from highland financial i told them i never heard of them and she seemed really upset with me saying are you going to pay this or not i told her i would be going to legal services has anyone else been told that they have a claim number?

| | | I get calls from this number regularly, almost daily. My ex husband of whom I've been divorced from for going on 5 years now gets them as well. They say they are calling in regards to a payday loan from 2013 which needs to be paid. I have never had a payday loan before, so I know this is not true. I have called the credit bureau to verify that no one else has taken a payday loan out in my name, and this has never shown up on my credit report. The company calling refuses to tell me which loan establishment the loan was taken out at so that I can "call and settle this with them". They just threaten me with turning me into the credit bureau. They even knew the last four digits of my SS#, which is scary! How do they know this and how did they get my ex husband's phone number?? I have tried to block them several times, yet they keep finding ways around it.

Here is a list of some of the numbers they have used. 844-514-6247, 844-510-1813, 844-243-2207, 844-243-5515, 844-243-2208, 844-243-2208, 844-243-2024, 844-243-2024, 844-271-2526, 844-279-1645, 844-279-7429, and 844-290-7067. It is a SCAM. I guess when the number has gotten enough complaints they get a new number. |

They called and tried to say I owed money from a bank loan and they are trying to collect. They have called me, my immediate and extended family. I received similar calls last year saying I'm going to jail when i asked for something in writing about alleged debt they were vary nasty and hung up. |
