| | | I don't have a car and ask them when this was supposed to have happened. I persist with the idea that I don't have a car therefore it couldn't possibly be me. If they keep trying I then add that I haven't been outside of my house for months so really couldn't be me. I keep trying to help them and engage. Eventually they give up on the car accident idea that I, or maybe a member of my family, may have been involved in, and they move on to ask me if there is anything else they can help me with, like claims for injury within the house etc. I then sound very surprised and say - oh so this is just a cold call then? They hung up. |
