| | Sounded all official, and he said he was calling in regards to a claim against me that was attached to my social security number. Now how would he know that when my phone is a company paid phone, which is not paid by me, nor used for any type of personal use? Sounds like a collection's agency on a fishing trip gone wild, lol. It asked for me to push a button to continue, at which time I simple hung up the phone. Now had I continued and they'd of asked me to verify my DOB & SS# I would have flat-out declined to do so! I would be very VERY suspicious of this company if I were you. They seem to be fishing for any important personal information that can be used to commit fraud by pretending to be you. |
| | I just got a call from that number saying my ss was attached to the file. However, they were trying to find an ex sister in law. It is collections. NRG I told them I havent seen her in years, which is the truth, so they removed me off their list.
The agency name does sound legit because I used to get mail from them a few years ago, so I thought at first, they were looking for me about medical bills or student loan. |
