Spectrum phone number called me (didn't recognise until I googled whilst on the phone)Wanted to offer a 50% discount on my contract, couldn't understand a lot of what was being said, then said about a code being sent through, as soon as he said that I hung up the call, they then proceeded to send the code through to my phone from the Spectrum text number, then tried to call me back another 3 times for the code, I didn't answer. Spoke to the real Spectrum customer service who put me through to the Fraud department to check my account and bank details were still safe. Do not give the code to anyone!
Called to say I have won the postcode lottery and called me to confirm my email address for $299 cash and 50% off all the grocery stores!!!I didn’t wait to hear what his “boss” said.
