Called my 80 year old mum. Claimed to be telephone preference service offering a call blocking service. The person on the line told her the first two numbers of her sort code. She was handed over to a man who gave her this phone number which also came up on her last caller I'd. They said the service would be a one off payment of £50. Luckily she would not give them any more details and hung up, but she was very confused. I have told her to inform her bank
