Received 2 calls in the past 2 days from this number (Atlantic City NJ). First time it was a while before anyone said anything. They asked if I spoke Spanish. I told them no and they hung up. The 2nd call, no one talked for a while then the call ended. Strange. Probably some kind of scam. |
| | | An Indian man called my company's office and asked me to give them the serial number of my copier. He didn't know what to say when I asked him what company he was calling from. When I asked him again, he said "Business and Mailing Enterprises". When I asked why he would need the number to our copier, he said something about inventory tracking or making it seem as if they were part of the company it was purchased from. I hung up after I googled the number and confirmed it was a scam. |
| | | SCAMMERS - Call listed under Atlantic City, NJ in USA and he "Joseph", wanted to pop into my office to give me a business card for Suit Tailoring. He sounded young yet said he was old fashioned, and he had a European or South American accent. He repeated my name several times, and tried to get my email address, and when I asked him where he got my name from, he said the internet. I asked for his website first, he changed my question to a question he asked over 3-5 times, he kept changing his questions to get info out of me or get me to meet. I hung up on him as he would not provide any info himself...not a legitimate caller. |
