Foreign man claiming to be from the IRS..claiming I willfully defrauded the IRS for the last 5 years-told me sheriff's deputies would be coming to arrest me in the next two hours if I did not pay the $5-thousand plus he claimed I owed. I asked for a return call number-wouldn't give it. I asked for a case number-he blurted out some fictional case number. Something should be done about this kind of harassment. |

Last two days a mechanical/tape sounding message saying time sensitive reason for call and if not will see and my attorney....IF IT'S THE GOVERNMENT/IRS/ETC THEY HAVE TO BY LAW IDENTIFY THEMSELVES...Dont return the call i did not!!!!

| | | Called yesterday claiming I was selected to claim a grant from the Federal Government under the Federal Stimulus Act and needed to call a number and give them a case number they orovided.
I did not call and received another call today with a message left to contact this number 202-769-5271 regarding a criminal lawsuit being filed against me. I called back and was told I was speaking to an IRS agent and criminal charges were being filed against me for over $5,000, I forget the exact amount, fir tax years 2010-2015. I told them I did not file taxes for those years and was told I was a liar.
I informed them I was going to file a complaint with the FBI because I had not filed a taxes for those years because I was disabled and they were not the IRS I was immediately hung up on.
They are scammers. |

| | | Just got a call from this number saying I have a law suit against me and if I don't get back to them then the "consequence will unfold for me" that creeped me out, so I googled the number and found out it was a scam through here. Number BLOCKED. |
| | | Same thing, my husband recieved a call from the number above stating that he has a criminal charges pending, called stating that i needed to call back immediately or have an attorney call, If not they will let everything fall as it may. Ten min later he got another call from a Washington number claiming to be the IRS, I called back and said I was reporting the numbers to the IRS and the Police Department.

Knowing it was a scam I did (HAHAHA) I let them say what they needed to say I asked how much I owed, got hung up on. Me being a smart ass I called back multiple times asking why they keep hanging up I just want to take care of this problem. The next day I got a direct call from this number I told them to mail me the information and stop calling I'm at work so I can pay you guys, and got hung up on.
