She told me there was a change to our owner's "risk matrix" (which is just a fancy term for figuring out different risks). I informed her that we do not have an account with Merchant Services and that that's not how a risk matrix works. I told her to remove our company from the list immediately or else we would report their company.
IF YOU WANT THEM TO STOP CALLING: tell them to remove you from their call list. If you ask to be removed from the list they are LEGALLY required remove you within 31 days. Threaten to report them to the FCC (Federal Communication Commission) She complied real quick and said she would remove us from the list immediately. I don't expect to hear from them again. |

I explained to her unless she had more information that I as the Office Manager would NOT forward any message unless she gave me more information. She kept running her mouth and I did write the number she gave down so I could check it out. When you call it does not ring and hangs up on you. And when it did ring - no answer - of course!!! Blocking and reporting to the BBB - I am sure I am not the first. |

The company that calls constantly will only tell me their name is "merchant services" and they are above all banks and our current provider. Someone name Jennelle called twice and another person called while we were talking to Jennelle. Total Scam |
| | | I have had the same kind of experience with this caller as described by others who have left comments below. This caller has called me before, sometimes several times a day, and a few times the caller left a very peculiar message about my "merchant account." When I answered their call today, a lady tells me that "sensitive information related to my merchant account has changed...", and I stopped her there and politely asked her what account she was referring to. She completely avoided answering my question and merely repeated herself. I asked her again what account was she referring to and what it is that she was trying to sell me. She then very rudely said, "Well, if you would be quiet and give me a minute to talk..." That was it. I cut her off and told her to never call again and to go f**k herself. I then added this number to my auto-reject caller list. Would you believe that she has attempted to call me back three times since I hung up on her? SCA M. Beware!!! |
| | | This person named Anna called and said she was with our merchant services and needed to talk to the owner of the account. i told them to email or send us the supposed changes on the account. she claimed she could not because of the sensitivity of the information and that she could only speak to the owner of the company.
I have called the REAL merchant services before and they have nothing to do with this SCAM. They do NOT call their customers about changes to their accounts.
Besides that, merchant services has a 1-800 number to call, not a local number. |
