Then he hung up. Scam from India, very common.

Saying it's provided by federal government that my name & number has been chosen by the government for not having bankruptcy in the last 6 months paying my bills on time not getting any in any trouble with the law no tickets etc... that I will receive $9,200 in my checking account or MoneyGram that I need 250 dollars in my acct for processing fee's.

| | | This person called me today saying he was calling about a government grant. When I asked how he got the number he got upset and said I was asking a lot of questions. So I asked who he was, he told me he was my "MFer" (profanity). I told him I was reporting him and he was very combative. |

He told me they will remove my name from their f*ING list and hung up. An hour later I talked to another one from the same number. I was polite andtold her that I was reporting the number to the fcc. She said go ahead, go ahead, go ahead. I'm not scared and then hung up on me. |

| | | This a fake grant. They keep calling so finally one day I played along. They say they can deposit the grant money into your checking account and it can be used for anything. Sure, let me give you my information so you can empty my bank account! They gave me a phone number to call and verify the grant. I did not call that number, but took that number and reported them to the FTC. I get a call from these people at a different number and when I call it the recoding says the number does not exist. Totally scam. I hope the FTC does something about these people.

i only know because I have or had an appt with her, the number was blocked, but she was supposed to call at that time.
the call didn't go through , but I star 69 it, and this was the number that came up. some one please tell me what they do. She is not like this but the man she lives with could be. I have full names etc.... |
