BT scam call! An automated message telling me my internet would be turned off in 24h.
Constantly getting messages saying Internet about to be cut off. Claims to be Talk talk Technical Department.
An automated voice saying they were my internet provider and that I would be cut off in the next 24-48 hours and I need to press 1!
The caller claimed to be calling from talk talk, then passed me onto a senior technician who explained the same as the first person. They stated were experiencing error reports from my internet and if I use my laptop or computer they can help me resolve the error. I said I have no laptop or computer twice - they terminated the call. Therefore I believe it was a scam call or they wouldn't have terminated the call. These callers sounded like they cam from the Far East. Barely understood and broken English. How can I stop callers like this?
