USER REVIEWS:

The bad guy is at it again. He is now using the name Robert J Galluccio. A person called claiming to be my grandson, and also said he was in a jail in Florida, and to please not tell his mother. His so called Attorney called me shortly afterwords and said that he needed 8800.00 to get my grandson out of jail. I did some research and found this website when I entered the phone number. The next time the attorney called I let him know that I knew that he was trying to scam me, and he hung up at once.

He called my grandpa a few months ago and said he was his grandson who was stuck in jail and needed money to be bailed out. My grandpa doesn't even have a grandson.
He's still at it. First he has someone call imitating the grandson in jail and desperate for noone to know. The the "lawyer James Lee" calls asking for cash to be sent to an address in Rhode Island by UPS. Total scam
He called my grandmother today, same scam. I am reporting this to the FBI immediately.
This a**** called my mom saying that grandson (my son) saying he had been arrested in Miami and needed $7500 to get out of jail. I called him back. His number is 321-200-0163. His name is James Lee. Once he knew that I was her son he said that he called her by accident. I called him a few choice words and he hung up. I called back and it went to voice mail.
(comment 2) I told him, "If you're his lawyer, then you should know his last name." I even gave the caller an out (to keep him on the line a little longer) by saying, "He must be using a false last name" several times. The person posing as the lawyer hung up, I suppose when he realized he wasn't going to get any money out of anyone. AARP reports, "In 2017 nearly one in five people reported losing money in an impostor scheme like the grandparent scam, amounting to a loss of $328 million, according to the FTC." The number which showed on the caller ID was 321-200-0163 (Florida area code) but this appears to be a spoof number and the call is probably actually coming from outside the USA.
Textbook grandparent scam. Caller gets ahold of elderly person and pretends to be grandson and accurately has grandson's first name. Tells the grandparent, “There’s been an accident and I’m in jail and I need your help. I need you to send money immediately. I can't stay on the phone very long. A lawyer will call (with something like a booking number that has a prefix B) and explain everything to you. Please don't tell mom and dad!" Ten minutes later the person posing as the lawyer with the name James Lee called, but when I answered and asked him what the grandson's last name was, he couldn't provide the last name and said, "I'm just his lawyer."
