1st I got a call from a blocked number, voicemail pretty much stated everything else is saying here: asking for random person, court papers, blah blah. An hour later I got a call from 888-431-2489, no message. 7 minutes after that call, I got a call from a phone number that was almost identical to my own. The voice sounded recorded but was intended to sound live, asked me if I would like to hear more information about a 'drastically discounted trip'. I said "no take me off your list'. I then called that 3rd phone number - and as I suspected, that is a real person's number from my city and the scam artists were spoofing the phone number. Scary and annoying.

Just got a call this morning from the 8884312489 number, stating that they we retained to serve me wither at my residence or place of employment. This was from an automated call... They even stated that this was the 3rd attempt.. This number has never appeared on my phone log. And they even left a 6 digit reference code. You can bet im letting my local DA office now about this scam going on.....

This number (888-431-2489) has been calling my job for the past few months. It's like an automated call. They don't know who it is answering the phone, they just start talking. These calls have gotten me in hot water with my boss. Something about 2 charges against me. They are crazy.....Any suggestions?

I have been getting calls from them for months now. They keep asking for a person who is not me. Blocking their calls doesn't work.
This is the voice msg they left yet again saying I have been served:This message is intended for Annie Crawford. I received the fax order regarding a complaint that was filed against you. I have been retained to serve you with documents to appear at either your residence or your place of employment. If you have any questions or concerns about the complaint or wish to rectify the matter you can hit any key on your phone to connect to our office directly or call us at the following number 888-431-2489. When calling please reference file number one....

They keep pestering me and leaving voice-mails giving me a variety of names and "case numbers" apparently creatged by a random number generator. So a couple of times I have called back and lathered the live respondent with choice obscenities. That makes me feel good, but it''s a terrible waste of this 74 year old man's precious time.

(888) 431-2489 asked for my wife, saying there is a case number and this is their third attempt to serve her. Total scam. Already forwarded information to our lawyer.
