| | | I received a call from 1-877-694-1839 on 6/30/17 & 7/5/17. Asking for someone I don't know even though we have the same last name. I called the number & spoke with a Ms. Ross, I advised her that I'm getting calls from their office for someone I have no clue they are. I asked her to please remove my number & stop calling me. She asked for my number & said that she will add me to the Do Not Call List. Never asked me for my personal information or the person who they were trying to reach. |
| | | I received a call from them yesterday and they left a voicemail saying since they couldn't reach me by phone they will show up and my employment and I will forfeit all my rights or I could call and talk to them in person. When they left a voicemail it said it was intended for Tracey Newton which that is not even my last name and I have never in my life been married. And they also said they would be showing up at my house. Saying there was 2 pending charges. |
| | | supposedly they are a law firm and even when you call the menu gives you an option to contact legal but no one answers they say in their voicemails that they have a complaint filed against you and they are "serving you" for notice for court and a summons to you DA but when you call them back and select your menu option it just rings and rings then takes you to a basic voicemail. unable to get ahold of a real person not only is this caller highly suspicious considering I only have a credit card thru well Fargo and only bank with them its impossible for me to have a debt outside of wells Fargo they are a scammer do not provide them any of your information! |

| | | Some lady calling to say I owed them money for a loan from Lending tree from 2009. I have never had any business with Lending tree and the lady told me I needed to pay $1,000 in 30 days or $400 every week and that would settle the loan payment. Her math obviously didn't add up. So I told her i'd see them in court and called Lending tree right away who told me they have never heard of me and I don't owe them anything |

They make themselves out to be a law firm with threats of forwarding the "file" to the Attorney General and use words like, "courthouse", etc. to scare people into thinking they will get arrested if they don't pay. They are calling my mother and my ex that I haven't been with in over 15 years. They can search for people on the internet and find relatives and their phone numbers that way. They harrass and I have told them off 2 times and each time they have hung up on me when I ask for the verification of debt. They are argumentative and rude and cannot even tell me what debt they are trying to collect on. They violate all kinds of laws and I am not the only one who is having to deal with these horrible people. If you look them up on BBB it is clear, 44 complaints for similar behavior and their score is a "D". They are ignorant and criminals that need to be put away. |

| | | I told them. I was recording the call. Some women by the name of Renée Roberts ask me personally questions which I wouldn't answer. And I keep asking her what this was about and who are you. And I wasn't going to answer her personal questions and then she hung up the phone. They also called my Nephew threatening me if I didn't return thier phone call. I reported them to the FBI and to the Federal Trade....They are a scam...Trying to get money from anyone who falls into thier trap...Plus I have never been contacted by these people by mail. |

Not an attorney's office as their automated voicemail implies. Just a debt collector harassing you and your family/friends with threats of your file being sent to the District Attorney in your area. Fortunately, you can't be notified of a lawsuit via voicemail, which they'd know if they were attorneys. |
