Received three calls from this Officer Peter Samson today. So people be smart hang up emidately.

Received the same message as most of these posts. What a SCAM! Sure glad I have a brain in my head and some common sense! Don't bother returning calls - just call the Fraud division

Very active scammer using tactics that are very deceiving and dishonest. I am an accountant and I wish he would come to my door. He claims to be from CRA and is calling through a masked number. Uses name of Michael Rae and David Robinson. Claims somebody will come to the door and pick up the money. (That is a new one) Normally they want you to o buy I-tune cards or open up a debit card and want you to give them the access codes.

I received a call from an unknown caller several times over the last two days and was hesitant to answer it in case it was a scouting call (calling to see if someone is home). I finally did answer it, and it was incomprehensible gibberish followed by a click. I hung up. Sure enough, a few minutes later, 'the CRA' called with a recording threatening things would go 'badly on you' if 'you' don't call back. Not even addressing a person in my home, just 'you'. Not even leaving a return number. And the number on my caller I'd is not a canadian government number. Officer Peter Samson', you're an idiot. Shame on you. I hope things 'fall badly on you'.

Officer Peter Samson at some 'division' representing Revenue Canada demanding we or our attorney call back 'the second you hear this message' or he will watch as 'the situation unfolds badly for you'. Scam! Too bad fraud line is so busy these days!

Received a call from Peter Sampson of Revenue Canada, saying errors on my tax return. I phoned back and asked where their Office was, he said Ottawa, I asked for an address and he hung up. I phoned again, he said their were many errors on my last several returns, I told him that I am a Tax Accountant, he hung up again. I'm thinking of phoning him again but my wife says I can't say those things on the phone.

Good Lord these people are desperate for money! They are trying to target seniors or people that are gullible! Now they are threatening with legal action! Good luck with that SCAMMERS!

I got 3 calls from the same number the same recording message, I just block the number today.

I've had 4 calls this morning. The caller is a recording, Officer Peter Samsonfrom the CRA threatening dire consequences if I or my attorney does not call back. Can't these people be stopped and prosecuted? I'm so tired of these calls. I also feel very sorry for anyone who may be caught up in this scam. It must work a certain percentage of time or why would they continue.

Same message here. Not only from him, but have had several other messages from people with different numbers, same content. Besides, why do we need a lawyer, before discussing anything with Revenue Canada?

I received a call message from a Peter Sampson at 2;30pm yesterday. Did not say who he was calling for or where he was from. Very nasty demanding me to call asap or something bad would unfold.

Same number same "officer" of ""cra", threatened "wish you good luck" if i don't reply to the number. Sad for you, are you tired "officer" Peter? There are a bunch of legal ways to earn, lol
