I laughed after getting 2 recorded calls to my cellphone. He identified himself as Kevin Phillips of the law firm of Cohen, Daniels, and Moss. Same scam, different name, different caller. They said that I have papers to be served on me at my place of employment. I've been retired for over 5 years! Stupid idiots think I would call them back? Especially when they say this is a law firm that does not exit, I owe no money to any delinquent creditors, and finally I texted them back, and it took, which means the call came from a cell phone, not a land line. My text went like this;
"There are 2 patrol units parked at both ends of your street waiting for you to come out so you WILL BE ARRESTED for telephone solicitation fraud, and penal code 653m(b) which states as being - Harassing and annoying phone calls without disclosing identity." The calls stopped, but let's see who calls me next month.

Total scam, I called back and asked the guy what the weather was like in India, I'm an accountant and deal with CRA everyday, they do not ask you to identify yourself by your home phone number, but with your SIN.

Same thing as everyone else computerized female voice saying "we have received a criminal charge against your name, if we don't hear from you are your lawyer before this charge is filed, you will be arrested".

As all the above, however try to call back but phone line always busy....with all the comment above I will leave it to come to my door if they really need to.

PEOPLE SEEM TO HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO WITH THEIR TIME THEN PHONE RANDOM NUMBERS AND LEAVE A MESSAGE THAT CAN NOT BE UNDERSTOOD EXCEPT "THEY ARE GOING TO GET YOU" IF YOU DO NOT CALL BACK".
WOULD BE INTERESTING TO KNOW WHAT THEY HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH WHEN THE NUMBER THEY LEAVE IS NOT ANSWERED.

Just called me , they left a message saying I would have charges laid against me and be arrested. So I phoned back and they were looking for my boyfriend, then there was a loud buzzing noise on the phone so I hung up. I am really tired of these people phoning me.
I didn't give my name or my boyfriends name or any information

Threatening message left by a pre-recorded female caller. Said if I don't call the number I will 'face the consequences'.

An east Indian voice calling from a boiler room operation asking for me by first initial and last name and pronounced highly incorrectly. This guy had a real wimpy voice. He kept trying to confirm it was I he wanted to speak to and I asked the purpose of his call. It was a stalemate. I wished him a good day and hung up.

Definitely a scam. Google CRA scam to find out what these folks are all about. Been in the media a lot. A computerized female voice left a threatening voicemail message for me...hmmm...what a joke. Guess I will have to "take all the legal consequences" now.

Says they are cra and threaten with jail and bs. Speak poor English. Called a total of 5 times until they spoke to me. Listened to all their bs and told them I would be glad to take 11 years with free room and board. Caller at a loss. Told them this was bs and his mother must be proud. Told them send a letter and I would refer to my attorney. Total scam.

They said I would be arrested in 45 minutes if I didn't give them $4000.00. I said I would call the police station close to me and they hung up

This number is being used in a call saying "a charge has been laid against you" call this number before you are arrested.
