We are getting calls from them every single day. If it is Wells Fargo Mortgage, they have no reason at all to be calling us. First of all, our house is paid for, and second, we have NEVER had a mortgage with Wells Fargo! They never leave a message. REPORTED the number

Just called Wells Fargo using the number in their official website. I was able to talk to a representative who confirmed 844-213-7850 is the number of their collection agency. Said if you will receive calls from this number if you are past due even if it is within the grace period. However, she cannot say why the number is unknown and why they will not leave a message. Very bad marketing strategy as it does not make any distinction between the good borrowers who simply pays within the grace period as that is convenient to them and those that are really behind.

Wells Fargo concerning a late mortgage payment. I scheduled it. They neglected to run it.

844-213-7850 is NOT Wells Fargo. It is a SCAM. Don't give these idiots ANY information. They have called us hundreds of times and not left a message. Now, when we see their number on our caller ID # we blow a whistle really loudly in their ears. They are complete scammers !

Interesting. Did you ever call the number in the recording? That could explain why they call even if you have called Wells Fargo and explained it to them. Suppose it's a scam like the IRS calls I keep getting?

I received a call from this number and the (professional sounding) woman identified herself as being from Wells Fargo Mortgage. I called Wells Fargo to verify the number and it is NOT a Wells Fargo number!
