I just got called from this phone number 800-577-9040. "Mark" (Middle East accent) said he was calling from Amazon to verify that I had ordered a Cannon Camera valued at $1,249. I said I did not. He said that my Amazon account must have been hacked and he would connect me to his technical support to look into my computer and account. I asked for the date and time of the "order" and he said yesterday at 13:05. I told him that I would check with my family to see if they ordered and would call back to talk to the tech support if there was an issue, and I asked the call back number for Tech Support. He said 845-521-7831, but that he could send me there right now. I said I would get back to him. I DID NOT ORDER A CAMERA FROM AMAZON. I called the 845-521-7831- the phone number was not in service.
