This person sent me a text with the address to a condominium I was wanting to lease a unit from. He sent a link but it was only attached to a map of where the condo is located. He said he had a unit in that location for me to rent fitting my criteria. I asked him to call me and he said his phone wasn't working properly and he could only text for now. He also asked for my email address where he would send me more information even though my email is connected to the ad on Kijiji. I just googled his phone number and found this page and texted him to delete my information. Thank you internet!!

This guy's name is Mark Pillars aND he claims to be a widower who was living in this apartment before his daughter and her husband died in a car accident.
He replied to my kijiji ad too, one I posted looking to rent in Toronto, Ontario.
Looks like this guy targets Canadians...
Be wary of this guy.

I got a call from the same number 1+ 616-209-8694 I had also posted an ad on kijiji looking for an apt. in Wpg. Asked how many months rent I was willing to pay upfront. This a Scammer!!!!!

FEB 21, 2016. This number responded to a KIJIJI ad I posted looking for a place to live in Lethbridge, Alberta Canada. This number has a Michigan area code, the guy promised to send photos of his rental property to my email address , which he asked me for even though the email addy WAS posted in my ad, which he obviously didn't actually read completely. The photos never arrived and he stopped communicating with me when I called him on my suspicion that he was trying to scam me. Be very careful of any communication from this phone number.
