| | | Yes it is a spoof. Must scare many people. Same threatening message from IRS saying you would be arrested in 24 hours and had 4 serious tax violations, etc. Had it happen from another number once to a friend and researched it back then. It doesn't matter if you have a Do Not Call number or cell phone. The number today said "Voxbone SA" on my home phone today with the same number they tell you to call them back at. Total spoof. You can register these at the FCC (fcc.gov) so they can track some of them down at least -- or at least get to their networks to reduce them. |
