Received a call stating this was Officer Sam Wilson Badge #IRM12068. He said I was going to be arrested for defrauding the government for $1500. We were disconnected when I called back the person acted like they hadn't been talking to me. It was a man with a heavy India accent |

Robo-calling on a federal holiday pretending to be the IRS and threatening innocent people with a lawsuit? These calls are federal offenses and the feds need to open a case and prosecute ASAP. I worry about the elderly and those who are not savvy about law, or who may be struggling to pay past taxes. |

I just got this call and called back. Got the Indian man saying his name was William something and said that I owed $1500 on IRS from 2008-2013. I asked him what name it was under and that's when he got flustered. He started saying how an officer was going to show up and arrest me. Ugh stupid scammers! |
