Scam phone call from people claiming to be the IRS. Some low-life preying on the ignorant.

They left me a msg. I called them back from another number. When I didn't have the ID number he asked for then he wanted my name. I told him I thought this call was weird then told him i was hanging up. Googled the telephone number and found this thread.

What the hell? After a few years of not getting any junk calls on my cell phone I am suddenly inundated in the past couple of months.
This was the first to actually leave a message:
"I need you or your retained attorney of records to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive......"
"Do not disregard this message and do return the call. Now if you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney either then the only thing I can do is wish you a good luck as the situation totally unfolds on you. Good bye."
Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and just disregard that. If anyone has a legal or debt claim against me, they're probably going to contact me by mail first and then if they want to sue they'll serve me with court papers.
"As the situation totally unfolds on you" just sounds too threatening and ominous - and ridiculous.
And wishing me "a good luck"? Nobody with a legitimate claim says that.

This number called me and left a message. Called them back and a foreign accented women picked up. As soon as I told them I was going to turn them for fraud she hung up.

"The moment you receive this message I need you or your retained attorney of records to return the call the issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My phone number is 213 289-3862 do not disregard this message and do return the call now if you don't return the call, and I don't hear from your attorney either then the only thing I can do is wish you a good luck as the situation totally unfolds on you. Goodbye.
They have called me several times a day for the last week.

Call on my machine stating they were from the IRS something about a criminal law suit and I should use a retaining lawyer. And depending how I handled good luck as it unfolds.

called them back and asked what the call was about wanted my info and told me they were IRS. Pure scam

I have caller ID and all it says is Los Angeles so I answer it thinking it was my sister who lives out there. But when she said "If found guilty fines could be$70000 to$75,000 got me so upset that I was shaking Thanks for telling all it is a SCAM

I received a message today, the same as I received about a month ago, stating a lawsuit has been filed against me and good luck if I didn't call him back immediately which I didn't either time.

A broken up message about time sensitive material "that I or my attorney return the call. The caller then said that I not disregard this message and said the only thing they can do is wish me good luck with the situation and it totally falls on me". I hope and pray these losers come down with AIDS and their kids are murdered by an illegal.

Received the same phone call claiming they were the IRS and we were part of a tax Fraud, and that we needed an attorney. Look up the number and as expected that it was a scam.

3 voice mails saying I was under criminal investigation and it is important that I or my legal representative return the call. And, if I don't respond then "we wish you good luck."

Called requesting personal info and said there was a case against me.

Pt 2. -He asked if I was still there after a few moments and I said yes, I would be staying on the line until he told me why there was a lawsuit against me and he said very bad things would happen to me and a few other things before he hung up. Why can't this be shut down so they stop harassing us?

Received multiple calls in the past 2 days. I called back and asked for his name & identification number. Foreign sounding man named "Officer Eric Misdica" and gave me a number F17326. At least he was conaiatent with the name & number as I asked him to repeat it several times. Informed me as well that there is an IRS lawsuit against me and said he was sure I was aware. When I said that I wasn't and believe it's a scam he started to get angry and told me he didn't want to speak with me and I could hang up. That I would be arrested and put in jail and this recording would be played in the courthouse. He then told me I could disconnect the call. I said no, I wanted to hear why there was a lawsuit against me and he just repeated himself and then went quiet waiting for me to hang up- which I didn't.

repeated demands for payment of a bogus invoice with them leaving voice mail messages ----several on a daily basis on my phone and numerous emails. i am tired of it. i never return the call or the email but putting them in junk and blocking them does nothing

They have been calling me since Monday, and they are kept silenced on their end then hanged up. Now I know who they are and let the phone rings as long as it can be -SCAMMER.
