Got the same case number as many of you from Daniel Wiseman (?) at 202-747-0946. Legal Dept. of IRS. They called me at work and used a computerized voice too. Sad.

Funny how all of us have the same Case Number! This is totally a scam! I blocked the number and will not pay a dime.

People this is a huge scam!!!!! IRS does NOT call you!!!!!! Nor do they ask for payment over the phone. Tell these a****s to get a real job like the rest of us who they are scamming. Warn your grandparents. They will send these crap holes money!!!!!!!!

Got 2 very badly recorded phone calls this morning from the same guy as everyone else, Daniel Wideman w/IRS-legal dept. Said a criminal lawsuit has been filed against me and to call 202-754-9727 asap. My husband called the number and got Indonesia. As soon as he told the guy this is the United States, the guy hung up on him. Hope these a-holes get caught soon!

I received the same voice-mail message! I was like wth? That's why I looked up the name.

I posted yesterday when I recieved one of many, many calls....all the MO as everyone here but they have called from 202-698-0537,
202-683-4213, 202-360-0012, 202-919-7502, 202-142-5495.....repetitive non stop calls, I tried to call one number back because I knew it was a scam but the number has been disconnected. I wish someone would do something I have been receiving these calls for over a year now! I hope they put all of these people in jail! (there are several that work here or whatever ,last year it was a man with horrible English and two rude females that sounded like they were on a power trip)

Same issue three different numbers. I suffer from severe anxiety and this man is causing me nearly daily panic attacks even though I have called the IRS and confirmed that this is all false... I hope this man gets put behind bars...

I have relieved same as all listed above stated I was being contacted from IRS about criminal lawsuit charge and stated if I don't contact attorney and call him I deserve what I'll get, and wished me good luck

Called my phone at least 7 times in 2 days and left the same message claiming he was a police officer in the legal department of the IRS and I was being charged with a criminal casse and I would face action if I/or my lawyer didn't call back. First the IRS has NOTHING to do with a criminal case not made against them so the message didn't make sense so I looked it up and found this site. I have an attorney and have no problem filing suit against these LIARS! Filing BBB and looking for others to contact, something has got to give with these scammers and their unfounded threats. Sick and tired of the calls and having to block number after new number.

I GUESS DANIEL wiseman is a fraud from reading all these comments I got the same call with the same case # cf3271 tried to call back no one answered the # to call back was 202 683 4213 it did sound like a robot calling not very clear

My husband got the same message from Daniel Wiseman from legal dept of IRS! Funny he has the same case number CF93271! The message was word for word exactly the same..WOW, these people need to be put behind bars! So annoying.

I received a call today but from a different number. 202 459 4681. From the same name same case number, saying there is a criminal case against me. I called the number back and it just rang and rang. So I tried googling the case number and found this. To my relief

i've had 10 calls and still counting from this "Lieutenant" Daniel Wiseman today. Now, hes calling through as 'Private Number'
I'm at work so, I cant answer it. I cant wait to talk to the freak !

I received a voicemail from the same a****, said his name was Daniel Weisman from legal department of IRS a lawsuit was being filed against me I must respond immediately or he could not say what would unfold upon me. I started stressing out, could not sleep, then googled it today and found this. I was concerned because it is a Washington DC #.

Message received similar to above about IRS case. Block your ID if using a cell phone. They do not answer, they let it go directly to voice mail, or they pick it up and hang up immediately. They picked up once but did not state who they were. Definitely a SCAM
