said they were from the "Department of IRS" and that my name is in a lawsuit to be filed if I didn't call them back. Knowing that the IRS does not contact people by telephone, I knew it was a scam. I called back and thanked the representative for reaching out. I asked him who my attorney should contact about this matter? He called me names and swore a lot when I told him that I thought he was a fraud.
Said it was "Magistrate Judge" threatening unspecified "federal criminal charge" about to be filed if I don't call back.
