Male, accent sounded like from India ir nearby. He called me "Mr. Michael." my first name (but no "Mister, LOL) His accent was so thick I thoght he said "This is officer Chris Carter from the *** Crimes Division of the Internal Revenue Service." Seriously. I made him repeat it over and over. Then I asked, "What, is the government going to confess to screwing me all of these years?" I laughed and he hung up.

Called left message they were from IRS threatened to blacklist my SSN. Said they were from IRS Tax Crime Investigation Division. SCAM.

Multiple robot voicemails on home phone number about a threat by the IRS to blacklist my SSN. Sure it's a scam, but I called back anyway from a different phone to let them know that I was going to report the fraudulent call. Laughed when I heard the person's heavily accented voice on the other end confirming that "Yes, my dear, we are the IRS". Sure .... and I have a bridge for sale.
