just got a call from daniel wiseman claiming to be from the irs stating i owed back taxes. since this was not my first time with irs scammers, i just hung up. wish these harassing calls would stop.

I keep getting calls from a Daniel Wiseman, claiming he's calling from IRS. I know the IRS doesn't use a bill collectors to contact people.

I received the same call. Several more from different numbers in succession earlier in the day with no message left, but probably same scammers. But last one I got the same "officer" and case number as everyone else. It sounded very fishy but was glad to find this page and seeing how many people have been getting the same phone call.

Has attempted to reach me over the past few months (!) but I am aware of how the IRS does business. They cannot call, since they cannot verify who you are. I would have received a letter. I finally called the number, and got a guy with a severely thick accent, who was trained to be forceful on the phone, and try to scare you into making a terrible mistake. I told him I would call the IRS directly myself, and he panicked and became more frantic. You'd have thought it was HIS money I was messing with! So, I called his bluff.

Got the same call figured it was fake because he said in one hour I would be arrested lol since he ca)ed me I have called him numerous amount of times and got him to admit it ...sad people want something for free 0

I received a voicemail message from the same Daniel Wiseman, claiming to be from IRS and that a criminal lawsuit, Case number CS93271 was about to be filed against me if I or my attorney did not call back immediately. The call sounded like a recording or computer voice...very robot-like. I reported this to the IRS Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA). It is a very easy, simple process to report this. Go to www.tigta
gov, click on the link "IRS Impersonation Scam Reporting" and follow all instructions. Takes about 5 minutes.

Just got the same call as everyone robot sounding recording same case number as everyone too

I got the same message on my voicemail as everyone else here did today. Haven't bothered to call them back though. Looks like the IRS fraud dept. is aware of it already, thanks to you fine folks reporting it!

Same here, funny thing I had been receiving calls from area code (202) city and state said unknown and they would leave a blank recording from 3 seconds to 9 seconds and I would simply blocked them. But today it said Washington DC and same number, same person (Daniel Wiseman) same case number as everyone else. So I block that number too. I just hope someone puts a stop to those people because theirs a lot of naive/innocent people out there. Specially seniors

same bs phone calls i called them back 4 times just to mess with them and piss them all off they cursed right back at me and i just laughed because they all have horrible heavy foreign accents i am reporting them to everyone from the irs to ftc to fbi to police to atty general to councilmen to their phone service and others i will keep messing with them if they continue to call

Same as you guy it was a computer voice with case number cf93271 left a voice mail that was it I looked the number on here and blocked the number all well I guess we're all getting arrested /sued

ID'd herself as an agent for IRS. Has called multiple times now. She is calling my business line that is not attached to any tax returns. Loud background noise, could tell she was calling from a call center. Heavy Indian accent. The IRS sends you letters first before they assign an agent to your case. This is a scam number. I have no outstanding taxes due. An accountant does our taxes. I cussed her out this time because she likes to call at the crack of dawn. Lets see if she calls back...

Daniel Wiseman called at least five times and left messages with his ridiculous robot voice. I have filed my taxes properly so I know Mr. Wiseman is not real. He gave me a case number the same as everybody else's (that in itself is really funny). CF93271.

Same as others. At the end it says GOOD LUCK if you or your lawyer don't call me.
Attorney General needs to go after these jerks.

Daniel Wiseman called me also. Same as others - same case #. Had I not already assumed it was a scam. The "good luck" statement would have sealed the deal.
