Someone called my number and left a message claiming to be an officer and stated that the situation was very serious. Then stated their direct number and completed the call by saying have a blessed day. When I called back the number just to see who it was, the number does not even ring... the line goes silent for about 6 seconds and then hangs up.
Telling me that they represent the government and that I need to return call or face punishment and fine. They completed the call by telling me to have a blessed day! Since when did our government start wishing people a blessed day??
They claim to be an officer and advise if I don't call them back or my lawyer doesn't call them back that the situation will be serious for me.
Posed as IRS officers. Harassing and threatening. Bunch of guys speaking English with Indian accent and giving out English names with badge numbers. Very fishy.
