| | | Message left on answering machine. Claimed to be from IRS. Said they were going to file a lawsuit against me. Said they had been trying to get a hold of me (Not true. I'm home all day and answer all phone calls!) Said I must call this number immediately 202-239-1941 and repeated the number twice. No name was given by caller. I know this is bogus because my taxes are in perfect order. Checked the number on the internet - sure enough, others have received this same call. These are scammers looking for suckers. I will mark this call as "Harassing" because it threatens that a lawsuit will be brought against me if I dont call the number (and no doubt pay some money). |
